There are 3 different types of Orangutans, the Bornean, the Sumatran, and the Tapanuli, and they’re only found in rainforests. They live high up in the trees, known as canopies. They swing from tree to tree with their very long, strong arms, and gather food with their hands as well as their feet. Their feet are almost identical to their hands, which makes grabbing food really easy. The main difference between males and females is that males grow large, flappy cheeks on their faces which are called flanges. Some males grow really large flanges, which the females love!
