Description
Wild boars are very similar to pigs, but they have stocky, powerful bodies with a double layer of grey-brown fur. Their top layer is made up of wiry, bristly hair and the under layer is a softer, short coat. Their tusks are very distinctive, pointing upwards from their lower jaw, and are used to protect themselves from predators. They’re nocturnal animals so they’re most active at night. That’s when they’ll hunt for their food. They love seeds and fruits but also mice, lizards and snakes.
